The Badgers came away bloodied but unbowed from the coast this weekend as they travelled up to face the Grimsby Stormers, who had beaten them 4-3 in a tight game at the Skydome the previous weekend.

Due to a problem with ice booking in Peterborough this Saturday's (March 3rd) match against Peterborough Predators has been cancelled.

Fortunately it has been possible to book an alternative game, the Honey Badgers will be travelling to Milton Keynes instead to play the MK Jesters. Both teams will be on the ice at 23:15.

A Coventry ice hockey club is set to bring a new sport to the city. The Honey Badgers- based at the Skydome Arena- are expanding to incorporate a sledge hockey team within their organisation. Working with the British Sledge Hockey Association, they aim to develop a sustainable programme which will secure investment and drive growth of the sport in Coventry.

Zac Chamberlain scores twice in 5-3 win v Sheffield

The Badgers haven't taken long to experience that winning feeling. In only their third competitive game, the Honey Badgers of Coventry took away their first victory, and are now 1-1-1 on the season after a draw v Cardiff Bay Lightning and an away loss to Cardiff Demons. Saturday night's affair at the Skydome saw a Badgers squad moving much closer to full strength, with Zac Chamberlain making his debut on the top line alongside Craig Newton and Chris Armstrong. The Badgers were missing Rich George and Hannah Bridges due to prior commitments, but also welcomed Martin Gemza on defence.
